You realize the days go by swiftly,

You watch as they slowly lose pace, unable to keep up with your steps, as they are hidden by the affairs of the world,

Only a few remain by your side, those loyal ones.

Should you wait and see,

For a glimpse of hope to occur, permitting them an opportunity to catch up,

Would it be foolish to ever have such a thought, pointless even to consider for a second,
